A kitty cat and a spring border

Remember this little fella from last year? He came a-visiting again. He is just delightful and so friendly.
This border is beautiful all year round and it never looks the same twice. I get so much pleasure from seeing what they have put in it. It seems so altruistic of them because it is on the outside of their property where they don't even get to look at it. Want to know about the church in the background?

:) Here's some good reading for you:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crewkerne

Crewkerne is a small market town in Somerset. The town dates back to Roman times and minted its own coins in Saxon times. Later, it gained a reputation for sail-making. The sails for Nelson’s flagship Victory were made here. Nelson's Flag Captain, Thomas Hardy was educated at Crewkerne Grammar School. Interesting, huh?

Wow yes very interesting. The Mothers Union at the church looks a bit scarey lol! Crewkerne sounds like a Saxon name.x

Blimey, they do, hadn't noticed that!! I love learning about the history that is all about us. Every place has its own little bit which adds in to the whole. Like a patchwork quilt. xx
